Each weeknight this week, we spoke with a room full of waiting
hopeful adoptive parents. Helping them a
part of what drives me every day.
Parents work so hard on telling their unique story. Then it becomes a practice in staying active
with it. During the time spent waiting to connect, it’s important to take a
little time for yourself. Sit in the
quiet and pray, meditate, or visualize connecting. Not in a needy way, but in a way that puts it
out there to the universe. You don’t
have to be “churchy” to ask the universe for help and guidance. I made a practice of it years ago and it’s
helped me through life’s most difficult times.
It can bring you a sense of calm.
