Creating an Adoption Journal Update

In the past our Christmas season began when we pulled the decorations from the basement until 2009 when Grace danced as Clara in the Nutcracker at Butler University.  She was an 8^th grader.  This past weekend we drove to see her perform in the Nutcracker as a college student at Indiana University.  We have a nutcracker under our tree and each song in the ballet has special meaning.  What kicks off your holiday traditions?
